MEET LAUREN

Beauty has always been more than a service for me. It is storytelling, connection, and transformation. With over 26 years in the beauty industry, my work lives at the intersection of artistry, professionalism, and heart. From salon chair to film set, editorial shoot to wedding day, I bring intention, creativity, and presence to every experience.

The Story Behind
the Style

With more than 26 years in the beauty industry, my career has been shaped by creativity, discipline, and genuine human connection. Long before stepping behind the chair, I began my professional journey at a young age in the music industry as a singer songwriter, followed by work in promotional modeling. Those early experiences sharpened my artistic eye and instilled a deep respect for preparation, performance, and professionalism that continues to guide my work today.

Inside the salon, I specialize in custom color and extensions, creating looks that feel effortless, confident, and deeply personal. Outside the studio, my passion expands into on set styling for music videos, editorial photo shoots, magazine features, and creative collaborations with models, musicians, local artists, and entrepreneurs. I thrive in fast paced environments where creativity and precision must work hand in hand.

I am honored to be a recipient of The Knot awards for wedding hair and makeup, recognizing my work during some of life’s most meaningful moments. I am especially grateful for the opportunity to work with NorthBay Woman Magazine in Marin County, California, alongside Susan Schneider Williams, a gifted painter, philanthropist, and advocate whose dedication to community and healing continues to inspire me.

Most recently, I have had the privilege of collaborating with the band HolyName on music videos for their upcoming album, directed by Toby Canning. Projects that blend beauty, music, and storytelling are where I feel most aligned and energized.

Beyond beauty, service has always been at the core of who I am. In 2013, I became a medical responder for the volunteer fire department in the town where I grew up. While I loved my work in the salon, serving others in this capacity fulfilled something deeper and remains a defining part of my character today.

I am energetic, outgoing, and creative, but I also know when it is time to focus and lead with calm professionalism. That balance allows me to show up fully prepared and grounded, no matter the setting. Whether I am on set, behind the chair, or collaborating on a creative project, my goal is always the same. To create beauty with intention and make people feel seen, confident, and supported.

When I am not working, you will usually find me at home in Texas with my best pal Rocky, my 12 year old pitbull, and my three wonderfully unhinged cats. Add spooky movies, iced coffee, and a quiet night in, and that is my version of perfect.
